Join us from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm to create your own bath bomb sampler! Handcrafted in High Point, NC, these fizzy bath bombs come in a variety of scents, such as “Mermaid,” “Love Spell,” and “Lavender Chamomile.” Mix and match relaxing scents with fun summer scents to create your own bath bomb sampler. Chakras Spa and Salon – 229 S. Elm Street: Chakras Spa and Salon invites you to our monthly gallery crawl event. Featured art work by Frances Taylor. Frances is best known for mixed media art. Her work incorporates fabric, paint, ink and various methods to create her imagery. She has shown her work in Asheville, NC, Santa Fe, NM, and Washington D.C to name a few. She describes her work as whimsical, free drizzled vivacious color from life experiences. Live Jazz by RUBY. Refreshments by Table 16.
 

Elements Gallery- 526 S. Elm Street: First Friday at Elements Gallery where everything is handmade by local artists. This month our featured artists are Belinda Hammond who works in painting and clay and Ronda Whitaker who creates different kinds of jewelry. Come by to meet Belinda and Ronda and many other Elements artists. You can always find some good food and drink and a stray musician or two playing in the back or out front.
 

Elsewhere- 606 S. Elm Street: Join in celebrating Elsewhere's 2017 Spring Artist Interns for a group show where they will present their current work produced while in residence. $1-5 museum admission. 
 

First Friday on the Block – 335 Battleground Avenue: Battleground Avenue, in front of UNDERCURRENT Restaurant and Zeto Wine will be open for pedestrian and bike traffic only to make room for art, music, entertainment, local craft beer and more! Join us this First Friday in Downtown Greensboro!
 

International Civil Rights Center & Museum- 134 South Elm Street: Join the International Civil Rights Center & Museum in a thought provoking discussion on the question of whether one can have freedom without identity? The discussion will include different community leaders and members in a round table discussion that all are invited to participate in.

Purple Crayons- 604 South Elm Street: The Purple Crayons are an assemblage of visual artists from the Piedmont region (established in 2010) who gather once per month to provide creative prompts and share critiques leading to the creation of dynamic new artworks. The artists involved are established painters, draftsmen, photographers, sculptors, ceramicists and multi-media practitioners. Come see an exhibition bursting with color, dynamic styles and individual self-expression on a high level.
