Greensboro Project Space - 219 W. Lewis Street: On Friday September 1st from 6-9pm Duane Cyrus and Theatre of Movement will present a community engagement forum––An Evening with the Creative Class at the grand opening of the curated visual art exhibition inspired by the legacy of U.S. Coast Guard hero Charles W. David Jr. The visual art exhibit and several other multidisciplinary events and performances presented by Cyrus throughout the coming year, are titled Comanche: Hero Complexities.

 

International Civil Rights Center & Museum - 134 South Elm Street: The International Civil Rights Center & Museum will host a community fair for new and returning students, as well as, Triad residents! Enjoy a variety of community vendors sharing information and goods, and see how to get involved with local groups fighting for social justice. 6-8pm; Free and Open to the Public! Light Refreshments.

 

Jazzy Design Graphic – 104 Barnhardt Street: Celebrate our one year at this new location and learn more about what we do here at Jazzy Design Graphic. We will have Benny's Ice Cream truck here. The first 50 people will get a free ice cream.
