The PPC will be available to artists as a day use studio in order to work privately, complete projects, or foster creativity without the burden of committing to a studio lease. Community Theatre of Greensboro – 520 South Elm Street: Opening night for our Youth Theatre production of The Story of Hansel & Gretel Jr. at 7pm on First Friday of February Tickets range from $5-9 (with a $1 restoration fee and NC Sales Tax) All Youth cast, ages 7-17, this is a Student Led production, meaning the artistic staff are high-school aged students as well. Show is running Feb. 2nd-11th with shows at 7pm (Fridays) and 2pm (Saturdays and Sundays).
 

Elements Gallery – 526 South Elm Street: Please join the artists at Elements Gallery on South Elm Street for First Friday. Featured this month are Ginny Brown in textiles and Matthew Fisher working in polymer clay and re-purposed books. A number of our other artists will also be there, along with good food and hopefully some musicians.

 

Elsewhere - 606 South Elm Street: Meet the January artists-in-residence and explore what they've been up to in this culminated, group, opening for February First Friday. $1 - 5 admission fee.

LUXE Fragrance Bar - 219 Southside Square: Ladies, have you considered the new semi-permanent tattoo craze, microblading? Or do you wish your eyebrows were perfect everyday? I will be hosting my dear friend and licensed esthetician, Charity Lache, for a microblading information session to answer all the questions you may have regarding this new phenomenon. Information session begins at 7:30pm on February 2nd. She will also be available to book appointments for Saturday and Sunday.

 

Triad Stage - 232 South Elm Street: Opening night for A Raisin in the Sun. at 8pm on First Friday of February. Tickets start at $10.
