Elm Street: Explore what the current artists-in-residence, the Southern Constellations Fellows have been up to in this culminating, group opening for Downtown Greensboro's November First Friday. This year’s constellation is an intergenerational and inter-media cohort of artists exploring diverse material, curatorial, and performance narratives. Their works intersperse American South and Global South concerns through voices both playful, poignant, and political. International Civil Rights Center and Museum - 134 S. Elm Street: Join us for November's First Friday as we continue to encourage registered voters to vote! Learn about your right as a voter, who's on the ballot, and what's at stake. Stronger North Carolina will give a presentation on the history of voting rights as well as providing information about what is on the ballot this year.

Studio SouthEnd- Bill Lusk Studio, Inc. & Buttermilk Creative - 120-B W. Lewis Street (Located down the alley behind BoxCar): Studio SouthEnd is open First Friday! Studio SouthEnd is a studio facility that houses creative thinkers, photography productions and serves as an event venue. Bill Lusk Studio, Inc., Buttermilk Creative and Phillip Marsh are anchoring this upcoming First Friday event. Come hang and have a beer on us. Bill Lusk Studio, Inc. is a food-centric photography and video production company. The studio is a team of artists and craftspeople making photography content for brands both local and national. For this First Friday, the studio will be shooting a live production. Phillip Marsh is an art-centric Greensboro leader and artist. He has been instrumental in the murals that have been popping up around Greensboro. Two of the artists he collaborates with will be attending Studio SouthEnd’s First Friday to show off their work. Buttermilk Creative is a full service creative studio focused on delivering beautiful, results driven design for the specialty food & beverage industry.

 

Willows by Goodwill - 201 S. Elm Street: Willows by Goodwill pop-up boutique is returning to First Friday in Downtown Greensboro. The next pop-up boutique will be on Friday, November 2 from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at 201 South Elm Street (at the intersection of February 1 Place) in downtown Greensboro. Willows by Goodwill is the ultimate shopping experience. They sell new and gently-used name brand and designer clothing, shoes and accessories at the low prices you would expect from Triad Goodwill. Triad Goodwill team members hand select items for women, men, and children to fill the pop-up boutique with fashion-forward finds and unique accessories. Stop by to shop and grab a treat. Willows will sell popcorn and cotton candy, plus cookies, brownies, and other treats from Triad Goodwill’s in-house Bistro, Edgar’s Corner Café.
