Carolina Theatre - 310 S. Greene Street: Growing up, musicians Joe Newberry and April Verch absorbed traditions of home and hearth – in his Missouri Ozarks and her Ottawa Valley of Canada. The holidays have always been a special time for both, with traditions of home and family, festive decorations, gifts under the tree, and always….music. So now, each year the duo sets out in a modern day sleigh (with four-wheel drive) to perform their eagerly anticipated holiday tour. See them this Friday at the Carolina Theatre at 8:00PM.


Center for Visual Artists - 200 N. Davie Street: This year Center for Visual Artists is hosting it's first annual Holiday Invitational.Artists showing work in the exhibition offer a broad perspective not only by choice of medium but background and experience.This First Friday we invite our showing artists to come celebrate the show, meet other artists as well as our supportive Greensboro community.We also invite, as usual, the Greensboro community to come in and celebrate our burgeoning creative communities. Elsewhere Museum - 606 S. Elm Street: Join our Fall residents during December’s First Friday!
