beerthirty - 505 N. Greene Street: Live Music with Dave Moran Multiple local artist on display including ReCaps Artist Mike Valle, Water colors from Laurie Mendenhall, and artist Helen Palmenteri. 


Blue Denim - 217 S. Elm Street: New work by local artist Denise Landi! Small & large original paintings!


Center for Visual Artists - 200 N. Davie Street: Join us for our First Friday opening of You A Wonder, An Exhibition Celebrating Greensboro's Black Artists. This will be a moment...a movement...not to be missed.Debbie Long and friends will be gracing us with deep voices and sweet guitar. My Crew Comic will be creating space and reminding us about movement. All of the artists in the show are local and most will be at the opening so come meet these artists, have a drink, and be entranced by beautiful melodies.


Elsewhere - 606 S. Elm Street: Join the artist collaborative at Elsewhere for Downtown Greensboro's First Friday. $5 suggested admission. 


GreenHill - 200 N. Davie Street: Offering almost 20 years of experience, Sahara specializes in sharing the love for live music with their audiences. Sahara is a high energy reggae group. 


Greensboro Children's Museum - 220 N. Church Street: Enjoy more than 20 hands-on exhibits, including the popular 30-foot-tall Neptune XXL Climbers, at the Greensboro Children's Museum for just $3 per person from 5:00PM - 8:00PM.


Just Be - 352 S. Elm Street: Join us this First Friday for chocolates by Kate Hallenbeck of La Palette chocolates.


Polish and Threads - 530 S. Elm Street: Visit us for First Friday this week from 6pm-9pm. Bring a friend. Enjoy some music. Socialize. Enjoy a cocktail or two!


Scuppernong Books - 304 S. Elm Street: Participatory Budgeting (PB) Greensboro is a democratic process that allows residents to decide how to spend $500,000 worth of City funds - $100,000 per City Council district. Residents may submit ideas from February 1 to March 31 at Or come to this Idea Collection Event to learn more and submit your idea!


Strictly Social at Smith & Edge - 422 N. Edgeworth Street: The holidays are all done, the next big holiday is still months away, and it’s still cold for another couple of months. It’s February, and it’s easy to feel lost. Fortunately, Strictly Social has your back and will bring plenty of heat and light for the First Friday party. Headlining this month will be Raleigh’s Andrew Fetch and Rachel Spalding from Austin, Texas, with support from the Strictly Social residents. TheFacesBlur will provide visual projections to turn Smith & Edge into his own personal canvas.
